What is Vesilute?
A synthetic two-amino-acid peptide designed from fragments of bladder tissue and one of the shortest in its series, Vesilute is studied for its effects on bladder tissue maintenance. Research focuses on its proposed direct action on DNA rather than through cell-surface receptors.
- Studied for its proposed direct interaction with DNA.
- Investigated as a peptide bioregulator in bladder-tissue research models.
- Examined for tissue-specific activity in urinary-system models.
- Used as a research tool to study peptide regulation of gene expression.
For research use only. Not intended for human use.
Reduced to just two amino acid residues, Vesilute represents one of the shortest bioregulatory peptides investigated within the Khavinson short peptide research programme, with a tissue association linked to urinary bladder biology. Also designated Glu-Asp bladder dipeptide, has the molecular formula C9H14N2O7 and a molecular weight of 278.21 g/mol. Its sequence Glu-Asp comprises two acidic residues. Produced via solid-phase peptide synthesis.
In vitro gel retardation assays and molecular dynamics simulations have explored whether Vesilute interacts with promoter regions of genes encoding uroplakin proteins and smooth muscle contractile apparatus components in urothelial cell preparations. In vivo aged rodent models have investigated whether systemic Vesilute administration alters the expression profile of detrusor smooth muscle-associated genes.
Manufactured in a quality-controlled laboratory to a guaranteed purity of 98% or above. Every batch undergoes independent third-party testing using HPLC and MS-UPLC analysis before dispatch. Vials are vacuum sealed and stored in a temperature-controlled, monitored cold storage system. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is available on request.
Sold strictly for in vitro research purposes only. Not for human consumption. Intended for use by qualified researchers in laboratory settings only.
