Cortagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide consisting of the sequence alanine-glutamic acid-aspartic acid-proline (Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro), developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson group as a bioregulatory peptide associated with cortical brain tissue.
