Thymulin is a naturally occurring zinc-dependent nonapeptide produced by the thymic epithelial cells. Originally characterised as Facteur Thymique Sérique (FTS) by Bach and colleagues in 1977, it requires zinc for full biological activity and is studied extensively in immunology research as a model compound for thymic hormone signalling. As a research tool, Thymulin is used in preclinical investigations of T-cell differentiation, immune modulation, and cytokine network regulation in vitro. It is produced via solid-phase peptide synthesis.
Thymulin is manufactured in a cGMP compliant, ISO9001 certified laboratory to a guaranteed purity of ≥98%. Every batch is independently tested using HPLC and MS-UPLC analysis before dispatch.
Vials are vacuum sealed and stored in a temperature-controlled, monitored cold storage system to preserve purity throughout the supply chain. Certificates of Analysis are available on request.
Sold strictly for in vitro research purposes only. Not for human consumption.
