N-Acetyl Epitalon Amidate is a chemically modified form of Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) incorporating two protective modifications: an N-terminal acetyl group and a C-terminal amide. These modifications collectively improve metabolic stability, reduce susceptibility to exopeptidase degradation, and alter the charge state of the peptide compared to the standard form. N-Acetyl Epitalon Amidate is studied in telomere biology and cellular ageing research as a tool compound for investigating telomerase activation pathways and oxidative stress responses in vitro.
